Auditorios

A site for Auditorios, a band in Lebanon fusing the sounds of the East and the West: its five musicians, a gallery and live recordings to play on the page.

The Auditorios home page: the band’s name in large white type over a dark ornament, with “Where Sound Becomes Emotion” beneath it.

Overview

Auditorios is a collective of musicians in Lebanon, bringing the sounds of the East and the West together in a fusion style, and playing weddings, celebrations and other events.

Its site introduces the band and the people in it, and lets a visitor hear them live before getting in touch.

The problem

A band is booked on how it sounds and how it holds a room, and a few lines of description carry neither.

Anyone planning an event needed one address to hear the band, see who plays and reach them.

The approach

One dark page, read in order: the band, its musicians, a gallery of photographs from the stage, the music, then contact. The band’s ornament sits behind its name and comes back on the label of the record in the player.

The player is built into the page, so the recordings play without sending anyone to another app. The track list and the audio files live in Supabase, apart from the code.
